Together with two friends we decided to come to Nepal to do the Manaslu circuit trek. We had seen the beautiful pictures and read the great reviews online, so the expectations were high. And reality exceeded our expectations.

We met Ram at the airport of Kathmandu, where he was waiting for us for a full day after our fight got diverted. He took us to dinner and at that point we already knew we made the right decision in choosing this agency.

There are many guides and agencies organising these treks, but there's a lot of difference between them. Ram knows the area, the people living in the area. He makes sure the food prepared in the lodges is safe, makes sure we could deal with the altitude as well as possible. He's also constantly looking how we were doing and seeing if he had to adapt the initial plans. He explained the cultural customs from the people in the region... It's obvious he has a lot of experience.

And apart from being a great professional guide, he's also become a good friend. We played the Nepalese card game Dhumbal, drank lots of teas together. I had the time of my life.
